Your Boat

A bigger faster boat has replaced the old OTTER and will be Capt. Bruce’s new fishing machine beginning in 2005.

She has been completely refurbished and customized to make your fishing trip safe and comfortable. With a 12 foot beam, 110 sq. ft. cockpit and large salon, there is plenty of room for up to six passengers to relax and enjoy an exciting inshore or offshore fishing adventure.

State of the art electronics help to ensure your safety and success.

Brand new twin Volvo diesel engine provide a fast 28+ mph cruise and are whisper quiet with extremely low emissions (no diesel odor!)

Her fast speed means you get to spend much more time fishing. On off shore trips as much as a few hours are added to your time spent fishing when compared to other slower boats.

Capt. Bruce Millar was a featured trophy bass expert and guest speaker for the National Seminar Series for SALTWATER SPORTSMAN MAGAZINE in 2005 . Capt Bruce is also available to conduct seminars for your club on his knowledge of trophy bass catching techniques.

Your fishing grounds

Your Quarry
Trophy Striped Bass

Capt. Bruce specializes in the hunt for truly TROPHY STRIPED BASS taken on light to medium tackle both day and night. The pursuit of big stripers has been an obsession with Capt. Bruce for over 30 years. He knows when the big fish are in and how and where to catch them. Most importantly, he wants you to catch them! Large bass (some each year over 50 pounds) are taken by trolling, casting plugs or eels, and also drifting with live or dead baits. If you've always wanted to catch a trophy Striped Bass then your chances increase when you climb aboard the "Otter" with Capt. Bruce.

Tuna / Shark

Capt. Bruce and the crew of the OTTER can take you offshore for the most exciting big game fishing in New England. These offshore waters hold Tuna, Shark, Dorado, Swordfish, and more.

The OTTER can get you offshore faster than most local boats and that can mean hours more fishing and less time traveling. The Otter and Crew are also available for local shark/tuna tournaments.

Bluefish are usually abundant and are caught while fishing for stripers, sometimes in great numbers.
